The plane ride from Colorado to Iceland was interesting because of all the time changes. It never got fully dark outside while we were on the plane. Iceland and Germany´s airports were a lot smaller than DIA, and Iceland was freezing cold. The first surprising thing that i came across when i got to Germany was how different the water is. We went to McDonalds and i ordered water but it turned out to be sparkling water, which tastes like soda. I will definitely be sticking to still water! I noticed that all of the houses here are white with red roofs, also the houses are spread apart more. Along with that, the school is completely different than horizon. It is more colorful and bright, and i noticed that they have ping pong tables and fish tanks in the school.
